Privacy Notice

This notice describes information collected through thesixesleague.com and the league’s registration and free-agent forms. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult team representative should provide player information.

Information you provide

Team registration collects the adult contact’s name and email, team name, program, graduation class, roster size, uploaded roster, and participation acknowledgment. Rosters include player names, graduation years, positions, shirt sizes, playing levels, USA Lacrosse membership numbers, and parent or guardian contact details. Instagram handles are optional.

The Free Agent Portal collects parent or guardian contact details and player information such as program, graduation class, position, current team, and availability. Only include information needed for league participation.

How information is used

Registration details support roster review, league administration, registration communications, and matching free agents with available team openings. Optional reminder and newsletter preferences control the corresponding emails. The participation form separately describes its acknowledgment and photo/video authorization.

Services used to operate the league

Netlify hosts the website and receives team form submissions. Google Forms, Drive, Sheets, and Apps Script support free-agent forms, roster storage, and registration communications. Information submitted through these services is available to the league personnel who administer them.

Team payments take place on Intuit QuickBooks, which identifies the merchant as Be The Best Lacrosse Club. Card and bank details are entered on QuickBooks, not on the league website. Payment information is subject to the notices displayed by Intuit at checkout. Other linked services have their own privacy notices.

Browser storage and technical information

The website uses browser local storage for registration identifiers, email and consent information, and newsletter popup preferences. Hosting and form services also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, for service operation and abuse prevention. You can clear local storage in your browser; this does not remove registration records already submitted to the league.

Email choices

Reminder and newsletter subscriptions are optional. Use the unsubscribe link in those emails or contact the league to change your preference. Registration and participation messages may still be needed to administer a submitted registration. Joining the Free Agent Portal does not guarantee placement.

Access, corrections, and removal requests

To ask about information held for your family, correct a roster, withdraw free-agent interest, ask about retention, or request removal of information, email thesixesleague@gmail.com. Please identify the team or registration and your relationship to the player. Avoid sending payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information. Records may still be needed for registration, payment, or participation administration; the league will review your request and explain any records that need to be retained.
